As a jewellery designer, we really like to ‘trompe l’oeil’ if we get the chance to do so in such a way it enhances the intended effect. As it does in these trompe l’oeil hoops where duplicitous beauty is in the eye of the beholder, while the wearer knows full well everything is really one.
